About Us
We are The Phoenix Project - a small but mighty initiative with a big heart, a lot of tea, and an unshakable belief in the power of starting over.
Our Story
What began as a quiet conversation over coffee, soon became a rally.
The Phoenix Project was created by people who've been through tough times. We've cried in supermarkets, Googled 'how to feel normal again' at 3am, and one day, we decided to build something for people like us.
We named it after the phoenix because we've all been burned. And yet here we are. Wings out. Fire Lit. Rising.
What We're All About
At The Phoenix Project, we’re all about sharing, supporting, and educating — and most importantly, doing it together. We want to create a space where everyone feels safe to learn, share, and grow. Whether it’s online or, one day, in person, we’re here to offer support and resources that empower, educate, and help rebuild confidence.
We believe that sharing our stories is the first step towards breaking down stigma, and we want to make sure that every voice is heard — no matter where you’re at in your journey. Our goal? To build a supportive community where no one feels alone, where we can connect, share knowledge, and find strength in each other.
We’re still in the early stages (lots of brainstorming, planning, and more coffee than we care to admit), but the heart of what we do is about creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and free to be yourself — no pressure, no judgment.
Things We Really Care About
🧡 Honesty – Life’s messy. That’s okay. You don’t have to be polished to be powerful.
🌼 Kindness – The real kind. The “sit with you in the silence” kind.
🌱 Growth – Healing isn’t linear, but we believe in moving, even if it’s at a snail’s pace.
💫 Community – You’re not alone. Ever.
Who's Behind This?
We're a small team made up of survivors, creatives, over-thinkers, and coffee enthusiasts. We're not a fancy charity or a big organisation (yet!) - just real people trying to make a difference, one honest conversation at a time.
What's Next
We've got plans - workshops, resources, creative projects. Spaces to scream, cry, laugh, learn, and maybe even dance a bit. But right now? We're building. Gathering. Speaking. Planning.
We're here. And we're really glad you found us.
